FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas is expected to officially announce the hiring of two assistant coaches to Sam Pittman’s first football staff.
Sam Carter, a defensive analyst from Missouri, is expected to be the Razorbacks’ cornerbacks coach, and Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College head coach Rion Rhoades is expected to be named Arkansas’ linebackers coach.
A program spokesperson said Wednesday he could not confirm either man has been hired, but both have changed their Twitter pages to reflect their new positions at Arkansas.
Carter has spent the past four seasons as a defensive analyst at Missouri. At Arkansas he would be reunited with former Mizzou head coach Barry Odom, who was hired as the Razorbacks’ defensive coordinator last week.
