FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas left guard Austin Capps will not play in the Razorbacks’ game at No. 1 Alabama on Saturday.
Capps (concussion protocol) has not practiced this week. He was taken out during the first half of Arkansas’ 51-10 loss to Auburn.
Redshirt sophomore Kirby Adcock replaced Capps during the Auburn game. Arkansas coach Chad Morris said Adcock and classmate Shane Clenin have practiced at left guard this week.
“It’s unfortunate because Austin was playing really well,” Arkansas coach Chad Morris said. “We hope to get him back in the near future. We’ll see. I’m excited about Kirby, seeing what he can do as a sophomore, and getting him some valuable reps in a great environment.
