Arkansas didn’t really boost its NCAA Tournament resume Wednesday night, but it certainly avoided disaster in what was its first true must-win game of 2025.
While it wasn’t always pretty, the Razorbacks pulled away from the Tigers late in a 70-58 win inside Bud Walton Arena to keep its March Madness hopes alive and well.
The win improved Arkansas to 15-9 overall and 4-7 in SEC play, the latter of which is currently 11th in the conference standings. It didn’t impact the Razorbacks’ standing in the NET rankings, though, as they remained at No. 41.
