FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas receiver Treylon Burks has been named to the SEC All-Freshman team by the league’s head coaches.
Burks, a native of Warren, Ark., and Georgia’s George Pickens, who caught 37 passes for 552 yards and seven touchdowns, were the two selections at receiver.
The freshman led the Razorbacks in receiving yards with 475 on 29 receptions and ranked first among SEC freshmen in the regular season in yards per game (43.2) and catches per game (2.6). He did not catch a touchdown pass in 2019.
Burks became the fifth true freshman in program history to finish with 400-plus reeving yards in a season, joining the likes of Anthony Lucas, Marcus Monk, Bobbie Williams and Hunter Henry.
