FAYETTEVILLE — Gonzaga erased a four-run deficit with five runs in the seventh inning and beat Arkansas 15-10 Wednesday at Baum Stadium.
The Bulldogs benefitted from an abundance of blunders by Razorbacks pitching in the late innings. Hunter Hart threw three wild pitches, Anthony Dahl hit two batters on two pitches and Arkansas committed an error in the seventh.
Gonzaga (6-6) took an 11-10 lead on Taylor Jones' two-out RBI single. The Bulldogs added another run in the eighth on an RBI single by Joey Harris and scored three more in the ninth.
The Razorbacks threw 12 pitchers who gave up 18 hits, walked five and hit five, and threw four wild pitches.
