Former Arkansas offensive lineman Brey Cook is returning to Northwest Arkansas to coach high school football.
Cook, who played guard and tackle for the Razorbacks from 2011-14, has been hired as offensive line coach at Pea Ridge High School, Pea Ridge athletics director Tony Travis tweeted.
“Honored and excited to be coming home!!” Cook tweeted. “Time to get to work!”
A Springdale native and former Har-Ber standout, Cook was rated the No. 1 prospect in Arkansas and No. 12 offensive tackle in the country out of high school, according to Rivals. He won a state championship with the Wildcats as a junior in 2009.
