Arkansas coach Bret Bielema said he felt nerves when getting ready for Thursday’s season opener against Florida A&M.
“You always hold your breath,” he said.
He didn’t need to.
In fact, the next time the Razorbacks take the field, it might be the opponents who are nervous about an Arkansas ground attack that didn’t miss a beat without Rawleigh Williams III, rolling past the FCS Rattlers 49-7 at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.
After true freshman Chase Hayden rushed for 120 yards in his college debut, Bielema proclaimed the Arkansas backfield a “preparation nightmare” for the Razorbacks’ foes.
