Boogie Fland doubtful for Arkansas men's basketball against Georgia, would be replaced 'by committee'

FAYETTEVILLE — Boogie Fland played through obvious pain during the Arkansas men’s basketball team’s 83-65 loss at Missouri last Saturday, with his right hand being taped so he could continue to play.

After the game, Fland reached his left hand across his body during the handshake lines to avoid further use of his right hand.

The Razorbacks, who host Georgia at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bud Walton Arena, may be without their floor general against the Bulldogs.

“His hand is pretty bad,” Arkansas coach John Calipari said following the Missouri game. “[I] don’t know what we’ll do going forward, but we’ve got to make sure that we get that thing right.
