Bobby Portis is the absolute best.
Little Rock native Darren McFadden famously tattooed “501 BOY” on his biceps and “Arkansas Bred” on his stomach back around his college days, but Portis just took it to not only the next level, but like all the way up to the final battle vs Ganon in Level 9. Check this out:
You are correct. That’s Portis with a tattoo of himself from his Razorback days looking up at the Little Rock skyline. If it makes you weepy, that is what fine art is supposed to do.
I’m not totally sure how Portis ranks among the all time great Arkansas basketball players, but it’s hard to include him among our top favorite players.
