FAYETTEVILLE -- Gary Blair hasn't coached the Arkansas Razorbacks women's basketball team since 2003, but he still harbors more passion for Arkansas than many.
He coached Arkansas from 1993-2003, guiding the program to its only Final Four appearance in 1998. Foolishly, he was not offered a contract extension by the athletic department, and he reluctantly left for Texas A&M.
Blair was 5-0 against Arkansas until running into Jimmy Dykes' Razorbacks in Thursday night's SEC game at Walton Arena.
Arkansas sprung a mammoth 67-61 upset over No. 13 Texas A&M, just four days after No. 2 South Carolina pulverized the Razorbacks 85-32 Sunday in their SEC opener.
