The 45-23 victory over Kansas State in Memphis moved Arkansas to 8-5, giving the Hogs their first eight-win season since 2011. The key to victory was a balanced offensive attack. Brandon Allen threw for 315 yards in his final game at Arkansas, and the Hogs also rushed for 254 yards.
Alex Collins ran for 185 of those yards, scoring three TDs in the process, in what very well could’ve been his final game with the Hogs. He finishes the season with 1,577 yards and a school single-season record 20 TDs. Collins has 3,703 career rushing yards, second-most in school history to Darren McFadden’s 4,590.
