FAYETTEVILLE -- Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema pulled out the stops in his visit to running back Alex Collins in south Florida on Wednesday.
Bielema told the SEC Network's Paul Finebaum on Friday that the entourage visiting with Collins and his family in Fort Lauderdale included himself, running backs coach Jemal Singleton and Chris Johnson, the associate director of academics for football.
Collins, who rushed for 1,577 yards and a school-record 20 touchdowns as a junior, is contemplating whether to declare early for the NFL Draft or return to Arkansas for his senior season.
"He [Collins] lit up like a Christmas tree when he saw Chris, because he knows how much he's helped him in the academic world," Bielema said to Finebaum.
