FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas coach Bret Bielema said the video that surfaced late Sunday of his interaction with an Alabama player during Saturday’s game was much ado about nothing. Southeastern Conference Greg Sankey mostly agreed.
The video, released on Twitter, shows shows Bielema step in front of Alabama offensive lineman Cam Robinson after Robinson and a few Arkansas players began to get into a heated exchange. Bielema extended his arm to hold Robinson back and Robinson made a violent gesture Bielema’s direction. Bielema stumbled backward, a nearby official threw a penalty flag and the coach celebrated with a jump, spin and yell.
