FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas coach Bret Bielema attempted to put the kerfuffle between he and Kliff Kingsbury to rest Monday. Only, he did it in his own, typical Bielema way.
Kingsbury had choice words for Bielema following Texas Tech’s 35-24 win at Donald W. Reynolds Stadium on Saturday. Namely, the Texas Tech coach said Bielema “got his a— kicked.” The remarks stemmed from something Bielema had allegedly said while addressing high school football coaches in Texas this summer.
Bielema had left his press conference Saturday before Kingsbury’s words could make their way the 300-some-odd yards across the stadium to the opposite media room.
