HOUSTON -- The Arkansas Razorbacks seem to own Houston baseball.
One day after beating No. 24 Rice 5-2, No. 22 Arkansas (7-0) hit three home runs Saturday in a 12-3 rout of No. 18 Houston (4-2). The victory was Arkansas' second consecutive over a hometown team at the Houston Shriners Hospitals for Children Classic in Minute Maid Park.
Michael Bernal hit a pair of home runs well beyond the fence in left field. He drove in five runs, including a three-run home run that put the Hogs up 8-1 in the third inning.
"I happened to catch a couple pitches right in the zone and send them back hard," Bernal said.
