FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas guard Anthlon Bell is the SEC player of the week after scoring a combined 51 points in the Razorbacks' games against Vanderbilt and Mississippi State.
Bell, a senior, scored 26 points in Arkansas' 90-85 overtime win against Vanderbilt last Tuesday. He followed that up with 25 points in an 82-68 win over Mississippi State on Saturday.
He combined to make 11 of 17 3-point attempts in the two games.
Bell is the first Arkansas player to win the award this season. He is averaging 17.3 points per game for the Razorbacks (8-7, 2-1 SEC).
