Cabot athlete Jarrod Barnes has committed to Arkansas on the Recruiting Thursday radio show.
He was the first 2017 in-state prospect to receive an offer from the Hogs on Feb. 11.
Barnes, 5-11, 173, 4.52 seconds in the 40-yards dash, rushed 111 times for 1,090 yards and 17 touchdowns this past season. He's being recruited as an athlete by Arkansas.
Auburn, Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas State also showed interest.
Safety Derrick Munson, 6-0, 200 of Metairie (La.) Rummel committed to Arkansas on Jan. 29. Barnes becomes the No. 2 commitment for the 2017 class.
