FAYETTEVILLE — Izzy Higginbottom has accepted an invitation to play in the Women’s College All-Star Game following her record-setting senior season with the Arkansas women’s basketball team.
The game is scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. Central and will be televised on ESPN2. It will be played at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa.
Higginbottom, 5-7, was the nation’s second-leading scorer this season averaging 24.4 points.
In the regular season, Higginbottom led the NCAA in total points (780) and free throws made (242). She scored at least 25 points in 17 games, the most of any Division I player.
