What had been an excruciating and frustrating regular season ended on a resoundingly high note for the Arkansas women’s basketball squad.
The Razorbacks — after trailing by 14 in the first half before battling back to force a halftime deadlock — used a huge third quarter to build a sizable lead, and they kept adding to it in the fourth as Arkansas capped the regular season with an 80-71 win at Texas A&M on Sunday afternoon.
“I’m proud of our fight," Arkansas coach Mike Neighbors said. "We got off to about as worse a start as we could’ve.
