FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas women’s basketball team used big runs in the second and third quarters to gain separation in its 87-70 win over Central Arkansas at Bud Walton Arena on Sunday.
Sunday’s win snapped a three-game losing streak for Arkansas against Texas Tech, Liberty and Troy. The Razorbacks (7-8) played their first game in 10 days.
“It changes the way you feel. Having a win instead of the loss, you practice better, you watch film better, so it’s very important because our next four games are against great teams,” Arkansas coach Mike Neighbors said. “If you go in there with your head down just a little bit, you stand no chance.
