FAYETTEVILLE - As long as Arkansas is in a frantic game in the final seconds, it will win, apparently.
It was just the Razorbacks women’s basketball team’s second win in seven games, but like the first one, the victory came with a hectic finish. Jordan Danberry’s jumper with seven left broke a tie and last-ditch Alabama chance went wrong as Arkansas held off the Crimson Tide, 69-67, in Bud Walton Arena on Thursday night.
Alabama trailed by three with the ball coming out of a timeout with 21 seconds left. A quick Meoshonti Knight 3-pointer four seconds later had tied the game.
