FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas’ women defended their NCAA indoor championship on their home track Saturday.
The Razorbacks scored 17 points in the 3,000 meters to take the lead over second-place Texas A&M and clinch the team title.
Arkansas won the meet without an individual or relay champion. The Razorbacks compiled 68 points and scored in 10 of 17 events.
The Aggies finished with 57 points.
Lauren Gregory, Katie Izzo and Abby Gray teamed up for a 2-4-5 finish in the 3,000. Their 17 points gave the Razorbacks a 15-point lead heading into the meet’s final event, the 1,600-meter relay.
