FAYETTEVILLE - Even with little hanging in the balance Sunday, the Arkansas women’s basketball team acted like there was. The Razorbacks sent their lone senior, Melissa Wolff, out in style, beating Ole Miss, 60-49, in the regular-season finale.
Arkansas improved by a single game the Southeastern Conference standings compared to last season, coach Jimmy Dykes’ first. The team will play Tennessee on Thursday at 6 p.m. on the SEC Network in the first round of the conference tournament. Arkansas and Tennessee split their two games this season, with each team winning at home.
The Razorbacks (12-17, 7-9) took advantage of too-aggressive play from Ole Miss (2-14, 10-19), the last-place team in the SEC, on Sunday.
