The Razorbacks continue adding to their legendary track and field legacy by expanding its success. Arkansas built the tradition on John McDonnell’s men's track program, and now it’s the women’s team that has won Arkansas’ last two national titles.
Arkansas’ women’s track won their first ever national title last year in indoor track (the team was the runner-up this year), and on Saturday won the program’s first ever national title in outdoor track.
So don’t golf clap because it's just another track title. This is actually the first time this has happened. It’s new ground.
The Razorbacks won three events outright.
