It was all over.
No. 18 Ole Miss had the Arkansas Razorbacks right where it wanted them with a fourth-and-25 during the first overtime of Saturday’s crucial SEC clash. It looked even better for the Rebels when Arkansas quarterback Brandon Allen completed a pass to Hunter Henry well short of the first-down line on fourth down.
As long as some ridiculous play didn’t happen, Ole Miss’ College Football Playoff and SEC title hopes would live to see another day. But something ridiculous did happen, and it cost the Rebels dearly.
As he was getting tackled, Henry tossed the ball back to Alex Collins on a blind lateral, and he extended the game with a first-down run.
