BATON ROUGE, La. — Entering its game at No. 9 LSU, it had been eight years since an unranked Arkansas team beat a team ranked in the top 10.
The Razorbacks returned to the scene of that win for another memorable victory Saturday, beating LSU 31-14 in front of a capacity crowd under the lights at Tiger Stadium. Arkansas (6-4, 4-2 SEC) beat a ranked team on the road for the second consecutive week to become bowl-eligible.
The Razorbacks have won four straight games since their bye week last month.
Arkansas used a series of big plays to build a 21-0 lead in the second quarter, stunning the majority of 101,699 in attendance.
