FAYETTEVILLE — When the preseason watch lists for the men’s and women’s Bowerman trophies were released, Arkansas had a combined three athletes listed.

Rachel Glenn, a redshirt junior hurdler and high jumper, was still on the women’s Bowerman watch list that was updated last week, but sophomore sprinter Kaylyn Brown was not. Neither was senior men’s 800-meter runner Rivaldo Marshall.

Marshall has a chance to get back into the Bowerman conversation when he races the 800 at the 25th Tyson Invitational at noon Saturday, but Brown will have wait a little while longer.

Arkansas women’s coach Chris Johnson said Brown has a hamstring injury that will keep her out of competition until the SEC Indoor Track and Field Championships in College Station, Texas, on Feb.
