An Arkansas professor was arrested Saturday following an incident in which he screamed profanities at Razorbacks head coach Bret Bielema after the team's 49-30 loss to Alabama.
According to multiple fan accounts noted by ArkansasMatters.com, a man later identified as Lawton Nalley told Bielema "if I had your record I'd be f--king fired. F--k you," as he went off the field. Nalley is listed as an associated professor of Agri Economics and Agri Business at Arkansas.
Police approached Nalley following the incident, later arresting him for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Trent Shadid of SEC Country noted the professor was not arrested for cursing at Bielema but was taken into custody after an argument with the officers.
