FAYETTEVILLE — There was much uncertainty around the linebacker position entering Arkansas football spring practices a year ago.
The Razorbacks had lost four of their top five rotation players at the spot, including leading tacklers Jaheim Thomas and Chris Paul to the transfer portal. Linebacker was among the biggest question marks for the team, as it appeared to be the weakest link.
One year later, it may be the strength of the defense.
Arkansas began its slate of 15 spring practices Monday with its top two linebackers in tackle production from last season — Xavian Sorey and Stephen Dix — leading the charge.
