FAYETTEVILLE — On an emotional night that saw four seniors play their final game at Bogle Park, No. 16 Arkansas churned out another win Monday, downing Ole Miss 7-1 to complete a three-game sweep of the defending SEC Tournament champions.
A four-run fifth inning broke the game open as the Razorbacks stretched a 2-1 lead into a 7-1 final. Freshman ace Mary Haff came in to pitch the last four innings without allowing a hit and striking out six Rebels. She now has an Arkansas freshman-record 211 strikeouts on the season and is second only to Florida’s Kelly Barnhill for the SEC lead.
