FAYETTEVILLE — The 14th-ranked Arkansas softball team started fast and did not let off the gas during a 10-2 run-rule victory over Kentucky on Saturday at Bogle Park.
The Razorbacks (25-7, 5-6 SEC) will go for the series sweep in the finale Sunday at noon. Arkansas has won 5 of 6 after opening SEC play 1-5.
For the second consecutive game Arkansas' bats were hot in the first inning. The Razorbacks scored 3 runs in the first and tacked on 4 more in the second. On Friday the Razorbacks scored 4 first-inning runs during a 5-3 victory.
