FAYETTEVILLE — Fun has been in the vocabulary of Bri Ellis and the Arkansas softball team over the past three weekends.
After beginning SEC play 1-5, a series victory March 22-24 at No. 5 Tennessee shifted the season’s trajectory for the Razorbacks. Since that low point, Arkansas is 9-2 and owns a signature series victory last weekend at then-No. 2 Florida.
What was the key for 10th-ranked Arkansas (29-8, 8-7 SEC) to turn the corner?
“It was really tough times, and we were looking for anything and everything to kind of cling on to,” Ellis said Thursday, recalling the rough start.
