FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas rose two spots to No. 10 in the latest ESPN/USA Softball poll announced Tuesday.
The Razorbacks (19-1) went 5-0 at last weekend’s Wooo Pig Classic and outscored their opponents — Iowa, Illinois and Missouri State — by a combined 56-7 score. They defeated the Hawkeyes and Fighting Illini twice and the Bears once.
The top five of the poll was comprised of all SEC teams — Oklahoma (No. 1), Texas (2), Florida (3), Texas A&M (4) and LSU (5). Tennessee (8), Arkansas and South Carolina (T-10) also cracked the top 10.
