FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas soccer's Ava Tankersley was named a semifinalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy for national player of the year by United Soccer Coaches on Wednesday. She finished her graduate season with 12 goals and 9 assists and was named SEC Forward of the Year for the second consecutive year, becoming the first player to ever win the award twice.
The three finalists will be announced on Dec. 11. The winner will receive the award at the Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis on Jan. 3.
Tankersley is the first Razorback to be named a semifinalist since Parker Goins in 2021.
