FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas’ second consecutive regular-season SEC soccer championship was punctuated Thursday with six all-conference honors and a pair of individual awards.
Sophomore Anna Podojil was named SEC forward of the year and Arkansas coach Colby Hale shared SEC coach of the year with Texas A&M’s G Guerrieri.
The Razorbacks and Aggies tied for the regular-season championship, but Arkansas will be the No. 1 seed at the upcoming SEC Tournament by virtue of its 2-1 victory over Texas A&M in October. Arkansas has a double bye at the tournament and is not scheduled to play until Tuesday, four days after the tournament begins in Orange Beach, Ala.
