FAYETTEVILLE — The second-seeded Arkansas soccer team opens its NCAA Tournament campaign against Oklahoma State at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Razorback Field.
It will be the first meeting between the programs since Oct. 24, 2014, when Arkansas won 2-1 in Fayetteville. The Cowgirls lead the all-time series 6-2, but the Razorbacks won the past two matches.
This season marks the third time in four years Arkansas (14-2-2) has been given a No. 2 seed in the tournament.
The winner of Friday's match will face the winner of California vs. seventh-seeded Pepperdine. The highest remaining seed will host the second and third rounds, meaning the Razorbacks will continue to host if they beat Oklahoma State (14-3-3).
