A quarter of the way through the Southeastern Conference season and Arkansas finds itself in third place. The Razorbacks whipped Missouri in Columbia on Tuesday night, 90-61, to get there.
A 20-2 Arkansas (9-7, 3-1) run midway through the second half spelled the end of Missouri. During that stretch the Tigers missed nine of 10 shots from the field and eight straight. It happened over a six-minute stretch where, before it began, Missouri was down by only nine points despite Arkansas’ hot shooting stretch. Another run, an 8-0 one, after the final media timeout helped the final blowout final score.
