Arkansas’ remarkable run at the Southeastern Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament continued Saturday with a memorable comeback.
The Razorbacks outscored No. 15 Texas A&M 17-0 over the final 6:30 and defeated the Aggies 58-51 in the semifinals. Arkansas trailed by as many as 16 points.
The Razorbacks will play No. 5 and top-seeded Mississippi State in the championship game Sunday at 1 p.m. The Bulldogs defeated Missouri 71-56 on Saturday.
Mississippi State (29-2) defeated the Razorbacks 93-69 on Jan. 3 in Fayetteville.
Arkansas (20-13) would advance to the NCAA Tournament with a win Sunday, but might have bolstered its resume enough to earn a tournament invite already with a great run at the SEC Tournament in Greenville, S.
