FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas and BYU will play a home-and-home series beginning in 2022, according to a release.
The Razorbacks and Cougars will play Oct. 15, 2022, in Provo, Utah, and Oct. 23, 2023 in Fayetteville. The 2022 game will be the first ever between the teams.
BYU competes as an independent in football, but is one of a handful of non-Power Five programs that can satisfy the Southeastern Conference mandate that its teams play a Power Five non-conference opponent each season.
In addition to BYU, Arkansas has schedule home-and-home series with Notre Dame in 2020 and 2025, and Oklahoma State in 2024 and 2027.
