FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas soccer rose to No. 5 in the United Soccer Coaches poll on Tuesday. The Razorbacks fell from No. 1 to No. 6 after losing to Mississippi State on Oct. 4 but moved up one spot in after beating Tennessee and Oklahoma.
Arkansas travels to face No. 24 Texas on Friday.
Duke is No. 1 for the second consecutive week, earning all eight first-place votes for the first time.
The SEC has four ranked teams — Mississippi State (3), Arkansas, Auburn (11) and Texas. South Carolina and Vanderbilt were among those receiving votes.
