FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green was named National Offensive Player of the Week by the Walter Camp Football Foundation, the organization announced Tuesday.
Green had a strong performance during a 58-25 victory at Mississippi State, completing 23 of 29 (79.3%) passes for 314 yards, a career-high 5 touchdowns and 1 interception. He also rushed for 79 yards, including an 8-yard touchdown on the team’s opening drive that he created with a juke move.

The redshirt junior transfer from Boise State recorded season highs in completion percentage, passer rating (220.
