Arkansas is in the middle of a scheduling quirk that was almost certainly done by design. Texas State will be the second of three consecutive pass happy teams from the state of Texas faced by Arkansas. With Texas A&M looming in the week after, it makes sense that the Hogs found a team, albeit a less talented one, to prepare them for that weekend. It's also a nice recruiting touch. Recruiting in Texas has always been huge for the Hogs, and getting some wins against those in state teams certainly helps the cause.
The Hogs playing all of these aerial threats means the secondary is going to be tested a whole bunch.
