Arkansas men's basketball's newfound shooting form could lead to better results

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Johnell Davis silenced the ‘Who’s your daddy’ chants that echoed through Rupp Arena’s storied walls with a corner three-pointer just in front of the lone courtside fan wearing red. Karter Knox, on the opposite corner, gave the Arkansas men’s basketball team a halftime lead over Kentucky with a step-back three.

The Razorbacks — who entered Saturday's game with the SEC’s worst perimeter offense in league play, per KenPom — hadn’t hit more than 9 three-pointers in an SEC game leading into Saturday. They matched that mark before halftime against the Wildcats.

With a trip to Texas coming Wednesday and the rest of league play still ahead, that shooting form could mark a newfound strength for Arkansas.
