FAYETTEVILLE — Well, that was a basketball game.
There’s not much else to say about the 19th-ranked Arkansas men’s basketball team’s 109-35 victory over Maryland-Eastern Shore on Monday at Bud Walton Arena.
If the Razorbacks didn’t score in the second half, they still would have won by 25 points. Arkansas’ 45-point halftime lead matched its largest ever, a 71-26 first half against Alcorn State in 2009.
Monday’s game went as it should.
The 74-point margin of victory is the fifth-largest in Arkansas’ history. The Razorbacks’ 82-point win over Bethune-Cookman in 1991 remains its largest.
