FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas men's basketball team dropped out of Monday's Associated Press Top 25 following its 76-52 loss to No. 1 Tennessee on Saturday.
The Razorbacks, who are scheduled to host No. 23 Ole Miss on Wednesday, were tied with Nebraska for second-most votes among unranked teams. Pittsburgh was the first team out.
The Volunteers remained No. 1 for the fourth consecutive week, earning 45 of the 60 first-place votes. No. 2 Auburn received the other 15.
The SEC has the most ranked teams of any conference with nine — Tennessee, Auburn, Alabama (5), Kentucky (6), Florida (8), Texas A&M (10), Mississippi State (14), Oklahoma (17) and Ole Miss.
