Arkansas’ highest-rated commitment of its 2018 recruiting class has backed off his pledge.
Four-star tight end Luke Ford announced Saturday night on Twitter that he has decommitted from the Razorbacks.
Ford, who attends Carterville (Ill.) High, said he hadn’t done his “due diligence” in looking at all of his options and that he could recommit to Arkansas at some point.

“Many recruits have seen more than 10 schools, I have only visited 2,” Ford wrote. “I am not saying I will not eventually be a Hog, but I need to ensure that I have made the best informed decision possible.
