FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas defensive lineman Jake Hall is transferring as a graduate student to SMU, he told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
Hall, a graduate of Springdale Har-Ber, posted 11 tackles and one sack and made one start in 2017. The 6-5, 253-pounder, who also worked as an offensive lineman for the Razorbacks, played in 25 games and had 13 tackles.
Hall's departure is believed to put the Razorbacks at the limit of 85 scholarship players for 2018. He will be eligible to play immediately for the Mustangs under first-year Coach Sonny Dykes, who replaced current Arkansas Coach Chad Morris in December.
