The Arkansas gymnastics team isn’t new to Bud Walton Arena. The Razorbacks have held at least one meet there in each of the last three seasons. Still, their primary home remained at Barnhill Arena.
When they host Denver and Texas Woman’s University for the Arkansas Tri-Meet at 1:45 p.m. Monday, it will be the first time they take the floor with Bud Walton Arena as their true home venue.
All five of Arkansas’ home meets will be held at the arena for the first time this season. It’s a move coach Jordyn Wieber has pushed for over the last several seasons, beginning in 2022 when the Razorbacks hosted Auburn.
