No. 17 Arkansas gymnastics dropped a close dual meet at No. 12 Auburn on Friday, scoring 196.25 to the Tigers’ 196.7.
The Razorbacks improved upon their scores from their opening quad meet last week on vault and beam.
Where last week Arkansas had a pair of falls on beam, the Razorbacks posted a team score of 49.225 on the apparatus, their best score of the night. Cally Swaney, who fell in the opener, recovered to score a 9.8.
Freshman Joscelyn Roberson’s 9.925 on beam tied Auburn’s Marissa Neal for first in the event. It was the highest mark of the meet.
