The 16th-seeded Arkansas gymnastics team advanced to the NCAA Pennsylvania Regional final on Thursday with a top-two finish in its semifinal quad meet at Rec Hall in University Park, Pa.
The Razorbacks’ team score of 197.550 put it ahead of Michigan (197.050) and Maryland (196.825).
No. 1 seed LSU had the top score of 198.100 and also advanced to Saturday’s final.
Arkansas and LSU will meet 8-seed Michigan State and 9-seed Kentucky, with the top two teams advancing to the national semifinal in Fort Worth, Texas, beginning April 17.
The Razorbacks clinched the second-best score in the field after Joscelyn Roberson’s 9.
